Adult Programs
The library hosts programs for the community, usually in the auditorium, on a variety of subjects of interest and of use to the public. Author and poet readings, People's Law School presentations and health and social issues are typical of programs offered.
In addition, the library will be pleased to give your group a quided tour and orientation to the Penticton Public Library. Please telephone Karen, 250-770-7786, to make arrangements.

Morris as Elvis Book Signing
Sat. June 26th at the Penticton Public Library 3 to 5 pm
Morris Bates, a Canadian-born Native American, followed literally in the footsteps of his hero, performing on the Las Vegas strip for ten years and touring the world as Elvis. He tells a bizarre but engaging story of life on the road as Elvis and a more poignant account of returning to his roots to help native youth at risk.

Chris Weicht, aviation historian and author to present in Penticton.
Chris Weicht, popular author and aviation historian, will give a photographic presentation from his new book, Trans Canada Airway, which contains much information and many photographs about Penticton.
Everyone is welcome to this presentation on Thursday, June 7th at 7 p.m. in the Penticton United Church Hall. Admission is free of charge.
